Dunvegan Camping Pods are owned by local Dunvegan couple John and Philippa Macrae. The en-suite camping pods are situated in the heart of the village of Dunvegan (directly behind the Post Office) on the beautiful Isle of Skye. Our pods were built in the summer of 2017 by local builders DJ Campbell and Ruaraidh Macneill from Waternish, Isle of Skye. The pods were completed to a very high specification. Within easy walking distance are the Post Office and gift shop, Bakery, Old School Restaurant, Bistro and shop at the Filling Station, Giant MacAskill museum, Grocery stores and the Dunvegan Hotel and pub.
Within a 30 mile radius of our Pods are the following popular tourist destinations: Dunvegan Castle, The Coral Beach, Three Chimneys Restaurant, Niest Point Lighthouse, Talisker Distillery, The Fairy Pools, The Old Man of Storr, Fairy Glen and Uig ferry Terminal. We are also only 25 minutes drive from Portree.
